Better Late than Never!

Now that I no longer work full-time I was thinking I would have all this free time to do my blog and keep the house clean.  Needless to say none of it is getting done, LOL!  Because we are further away from our families, although still within driving distance, I thought I would dust off the ol' blog and keep everyone updated with some of our fun family adventures.  I doubt I will make daily posts consistently, but will try my hardest to make at least one weekly post.


HAPPY HALLOWEEN from the Tates!

William enjoys a few shows right now, and one of them is Phineas and Ferb.  For those of you that may not be familiar with the cartoon it is about 2 brothers who spend their summer inventing these crazy contraptions.  They also have a pet platypus named Perry who is also a secret agent.  William dressed up as both Perry and Agent P.  His Agent P outfit is shown above (he gets to wear a fedora).  Thanks to Memaw for making this AWESOME costume.  It was the best by far!!!  Homemade costumes are just the coolest.

This really was the first Halloween that William was really excited to get out there and trick or treat.  Daddy and Will hit the pavement for a couple of hours and scored a fantastic loot!

Our new neighborhood is perfect for kids Will's age and younger.  Lots of smaller children and everyone was really friendly.  One of the homeowners actually pulled a trailer around the neighborhood with their ATV and took the kids around to trick or treat.  Will is such a sweet boy that he picked out a special candy treat for both Mom and Dad at the end of the night.  How sweet is that?!

William begins Tiny Tot basketball in a few weeks so be on the look out for pictures :)

Hoping all of our friends and family had a wonderful Halloween and are having sweet sugary dreams :)
