Here are a couple of 4th of July pics that we didn't get posted earlier.
As for us we have been super busy lately. Since April we have had a constant discussion in our house about Sara going back to work full-time. It is such a difficult decision to make because we know William is unconditionally cared for now, and worried about him being cared for by anyone else. After months of discussion we decided that it would be best for our family if Sara went back to work. Luckily things have fallen right into place, which makes us feel very blessed. Sara had a job interview for a full-time position at the college she teaches at part-time. She felt like the interview went really well, and found out that she was offered the position. It is a wonderful opportunity. The department is fantastic and it is for a tenure-track position. It really is what she set out to do when she earned her Master's degree, and if she has to go back to work then this is the perfect job for her.
Memaw had come down mid-week to watch William during the job interview. She has been such a help to have around, and William just loves having Memaw here. We had a quick visit with Aunt Jolie and Uncle Mike that week as well. We always love seeing them. After the interview Sara headed to Temple, TX for a 3-day scrapbook retreat. She had a fabulous time and got a lot done. She can't wait to go to another one! While Momma was in Temple Colby, Memaw, and William headed to Patillo. They had a fantastic time playing with all of the cousins and visiting. William especially enjoyed riding his favorite horse, Tess. He just loves being in the country!

Memaw came back with the boys to help Mommy find a good school for William to attend, and we were so happy she could help. It made us feel so much better, and we think we found a fantastic school. It is called Rainbow Station. Everything is train themed and it is a gorgeous facility. The have small class sizes, lots of outdoor time, and a great curriculum. They even have a separate center for kids that are sick. A registered nurse cares for them during the day so parents can work if needed. How awesome is that?! This school usually has a one year wait list, but God must have heard our prayers and there was one opening in William's class. The curriculum was a huge thing for us, and we were glad to find a school that is NAEYC certified. Here is a link to his school for those that are interested. We really think William will enjoy going to school.
Mommy goes back to work on the 17th and William starts on the 24th. Keep us in your prayers as we transition to a 2 parent working family. We are all very excited about these wonderful opportunities, but also very nervous.
This week has been very busy with finding a school for William, Mommy having to fill out work stuff, and Daddy going on a business trip to Chicago yesterday. He is coming back late tonight. We will be very happy to see him! We also had dinner with Nonno and Nina yesterday, and William had a huge giggle fit when Nonno would "get him" with his mustache. So funny to watch! Mommy and William leave on Friday to head to Nana's. We all leave Saturday to head to Iowa to visit Nanny! We can't wait to see them and spend some QT with them!
We promise to post pics of our trip when we get back. Have a wonderful week until then!
Love,
The Tates
