The Tate Family was back in San Antonio!! We were so happy to be spending the holidays with our family in our original "hometown". On December 17th Colby and Sara attended the Arthritis Foundation's annual Jingle Bell Run. This was Sara's last event with the San Antonio chapter, and she will be helping the Houston chapter plan their first ever Jingle Bell Run in 2012. Our dear friends Joshua and Jillian drove down from Austin to run the event with Colby. Team Tate raised close to $600 this year, and the event raised well over $60,000 for arthritis research. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported us. We truly appreciate it!! After the dinner we had a yummy victory meal at one of our favorite Korean restaurants. Thanks again for coming Joshua and Jillian!! A big thanks to Nana for watching William. Here are some pictures from the event.

Colby headed back to Houston on the 18th so he could work a few days while William and Sara headed to Nonno and Nina's house for a visit. We had a great time visiting them. Nonno and William played many Wii games, and Will got a kick out of beating Nonno for the first time in bowling. He is still talking about it. William and Sara were also able to visit some of our old friends at Pinnacle Montessori. William was so happy to be back at his old school, and his friends were so happy to see him.

We were fortunate enough to be invited over on Wednesday to one of his friend's house for a play date. Tetaw (Aunt Jan) flew in from St. Louis on Tuesday so the 6 night sleepover at Nana's began.

The weather was cold and rainy all week, but we enjoyed going on a few adventures including driving around and looking at Christmas lights. Always fun! We also were able to put together a fun Gingerbread Train, although we now will admit that none of us would have taken a ride on the train due to numerous safety violations and/or concerns :)

Christmas Eve and Day are up next...be on the look out :)
Enjoy!
Love,
The Tates
